An Engineering Master Black Belt is now required to join this very successful, standalone company who are part of a major energy group based near Innsbruck in Austria which develops and manufactures large gas engines.
This is a critical position within the Energy Engineering Division and as Engineering Master Black Belt you will be responsible for driving Engineering improvements and defining and managing quality initiatives for the engineering team, as well as supporting the global Quality Lean Six-Sigma Engineering team.
You will take responsibility for coordinating quality initiatives with Energy Engineering Division leadership, managing a team of Black Belts to deliver high-impact results and strengthening creativity and new product introduction processes & cycle for Technology hardware to improve productivity and effectiveness, as well as identifying opportunities to use LEAN and lead Action Work Outs as necessary to improve processes.
You will also be required to develop and execute quality strategy (organisational and operational) and to mentor Black Belts and Green Belts in Six Sigma methodology and to obtain Master Black Belt certification through appropriate training, testing, mentoring and project execution.
To succeed as Engineering Master Black Belt, you should be qualified to at least degree level, with Masters degree preferred, and should have extensive engineering experience.
In addition you should have CAP training and demonstrated process excellence, proven ability to work in a matrix environment, excellent communication skills and demonstrated Six Sigma skills.
You should have experience with DFSS/DFR (Design for Six Sigma / Design for Reliability) process and Probabilistic Analysis, good leadership skills and should be a self-starter who is able to work with limited supervision. Knowledge of Wind power business would be desirable.
Knowledge of the German language is not required but a willingness to learn is essential.
